We have been notified by the Australian Business Register (http://www.abr.business.gov.au) that the outage to their  ABN/ACN Look Up Tool used for the policy checking of .au domain name registration applications previously advised to take place between 2pm Saturday 23 August and 10am Sunday 24 August 2008 (AEST), will now take place between 7pm Friday 22 August and 10am Saturday 23 August 2008 (AEST).

As we are unable to validate the registrant entity ABN/ACN details provided on .au domain registration applications, no registrations for .au domain names will be submitted to the registry during this period. Automated policy checking will resume at 9am on Monday 25 August 2008.
