Our internet connectivity service provider has advised that they will be carrying out a hardware upgrade that will affect the internet connectivity for all customers located within the Global Switch data centre.
This upgrade will occur on Tuesday 1 July between 4am and 6am AEST; the actual outage duration expected is 5 minutes.
TPP Internet has redundant internet connectivity at this site, so no outage is expected as a result of our service providers upgrade.

Our new tool will not only allow you to list your domain name for sale, but will actively promote the domain name to our customers as they search for a domain to register. As the owner of the domain you may set any price you wish, with the only cost for our service being a 15% commission if the domain name is successfully sold. Recently, customers using our Broadband services may have experienced unforeseen service disruptions. This was due to unreliable power sources affecting our Broadband suppliers’ Mega POP in NSW.
Our supplier has advised that power stability could not be guaranteed in the short term. In order to prevent this issue from occurring again, our supplier is actioning an immediate re-location of their NSW Mega POP.
To ensure ongoing redundancy/failover our supplier is relocating their NSW Mega-Pop to two separate locations within NSW. As a result of the relocation, Broadband services may be unavailable for a period of time on Friday 20th June between 3.00am and 9.00am (approximately).
We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

You can simply fill out our Bulk Transfer Form and we will import this data into our system. Alternatively please contact us under 1300 665 491 to discuss using our in house transfer assistance program. We will then assist you in the transfer of these domain names. We have a dedicated team to assist clients to transfer their domain names, and they will efficiently assist with your transfers.
There are two ways your clients can confirm their transfer. The first being replying to the transfer authorisation email that will be sent to the listed registrant email address or secondly they can fill out the Transfer Authorisation Form and include a written authorisation on their company letterhead (only for .au domain names; gtLD domain names can only be authorised by following the instructions in the authorisation email sent to the domain administrative email contact).

.auDA, the .au policy regulator, has recently announced changes to the .au legal ownership transfer policy. As of 1 June 2008, registrants will be able to offer their .au domain name licence for transfer to any other eligible entity for any reason. This means that registrants will now be able to sell their .au domain name licence. To prevent registrants from registering domains purely for resale, .auDA has stipulated that a licence transfer is prohibited within the first six months of registration.
