Interruption to Service on Control3.tppinternet.net.au

Web and Email Hosting services on one of our servers (control3.tppinternet.net.au) was un-available for around 20 minutes this morning. Our monitoring system detected the problem around 04:45 (30.12.2007) and alerted our technical team.

We are still working on determining the exact cause, but the short term fix was to power cycle the machine and this has restored all services back to normal.



Christmas Period Operating Hours

Between Monday 24 December 2007 and Friday 4 January 2008, our telephone and email support operating hours will be restricted to 9am to 5pm (AEDT), Monday to Friday. In addition to this, our office will be closed Tuesday 25 December 2007 (Christmas Day), Wednesday 26 December 2007 (Boxing Day) and Tuesday 1 January 2008 (New Years Day).

We will resume our normal operating hours of 8.30am to 6pm (AEDT), Monday to Friday from Monday 7 January 2008.



WHMCS API Integration

TPP Internet has an exciting announcement for resellers using the WHMCS (http://whmcs.com) client management/billing/support system. WHMCS have developed a module within their platform to connect to TPP’s API. This means that you no longer have to develop an interface to ‘talk’ to our API, you can simply use your WHMCS account to order domains and other related services available via our API.

Should you wish to use this module within the WHMCS platform, you will need to contact your account manager via partners@tppinternet.com and provide your IP address that you will connect from. We will then enable your reseller account for API access and provide you the test environment login details that you enter into your WHMCS account. You can then connect to our API via your WHMCS account – it is that simple!

Once you are satisfied with your testing in the API test environment, you can change to the production environment by updating the TPP API module login details in your WHMCS account to your Online Management System client account number (without the ‘CL-’) and password. 11 December 2007 – Planned Interruption to TPP Phone Lines
