In our last reseller newsletter, we hinted at some BIG changes just around the corner. Well, we have turned the corner and we are extremely pleased to announce some exciting developments, all of which we believe will benefit you, our loyal resellers, immensely. We’re phasing this in, with more enhancements over the next 4 weeks.
- On 21st May we will launch our new Domain name pricing plans. We know you will love this new pricing, we won’t be beaten on .au domain registration and renewal pricing. You will be equally pleased to hear that our retail pricing will remain the same, so unlike other registrars, you will never have to worry about competing with us.
- On 21st May we re-launch our hosting program. This is a very exciting time for us and we know you will welcome the product and pricing refresh. Enhancements include;
- Additional price plans to give you more flexibility
- A richer, more feature rich set of applications on our shared Email & WEB hosting products. We doubt you will see as much anywhere else in Australia! (available from 14th June)
- Easier to understand plans
- On 1st June our TPP Rewards Incentive Program, TRIP, starts. You’ll get more details from you account manager and we will update the reseller WEB site with the details on this industry first program.
- On 1st June we are introducing a brand new range of dedicated hosting products aimed squarely at businesses who need high availability (how does 99.95% sound!) and more flexibility than our shared hosting platforms offer.
Over the next few months expect too see even more launches and enhancements. Our goal is to make TPP your partner of choice, not just because we are competitively priced, but because we make it easy for you, and you know the level of service you get is absolutely the best.

Some TPP Internet Wholesale customers have been paying a small fee for DNS Hosting and URL forwarding services, however we are now making these service free for all of our customers. All of our clients can now make use of our Primary and Secondary Name Servers as well as our URL forwarding system, for each domain name that you hold with us as registrar.
TPP Internet has a powerful DNS control panel that allows you to manage all of your DNS Records in one easy to use interface, giving you full control over your domain names.
To order these services on a domain name, log into your Online Management System account, search for the domain name and click “add services”.

Did you know that you can sell hosting through your Domain Name Shop?
To enable this feature simply:
- Log into your client account
- Click on Wholesaler Tools on the top menu
- Then click on Domain Name Shop Management
- Then click on Products
- Select “on” to enable the products you wish to start selling your clients though your Domain Name Shop portal.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact David, Kim or Marija your expert Account Managers.
Password Recovery Procedure
If you need to recover your OMS login details (username and password), please send a request from your current account email to partners@tppinternet.com. Your account manager will then contact you to confirm the authenticity of the request, and will email you the details.
Please note that we do not offer the ability to recover your client username and password from our website. For security purposes each password request is individually processed by your account manager. This eliminates the risk of third party attempts to access your confidential information and ensures the protection of your domain portfolio.

All Footprint Hosting customers receive our DNS Hosting service for FREE. To take advantage of this service for any domain name in your account, download and read through our DNS Management for Footprint Customers or call you account manager on 1300 665 491 for assistance.

With our TPP Rewards Incentive Program, or TRIP for short, we reward you, our resellers, by applying credit to your account if you have spent a certain amount per month.
How Does Trip Work?
The TRIP program is based on a points per dollar spent system. For every dollar you spend with us, you will receive between 1 and 3 points. These points are provided as credit and applied to your account towards your next months purchases. As you spend more in the month, the percentage of your rebate increases automatically – up to 10%! So, the more you spend, the more you save.
Some products earn more points than others:
Product – Points Per Dollar
Domain Registration & Renewal – 1 point
SSL Certificates – 2 points
Shared WEB & Email Hosting – 3 points
There are three levels of discount with the TRIP program:
Level Qualifying Points Discount
Economy 1000 points 5%
Business 3000 points 7%
First Class 5000 points 10%
Example 1
Say you purchase the following in one month,
• $300 worth of domains (300 points)
• $400 worth of WEB hosting (1200 points)
Your TRIP credit would be 1500 points which puts you in economy class. This entitles you to a 5% credit to be applied to the following month.
Example 2
• $300 worth of domains (300 points)
• $500 worth of WEB hosting (1500 points)
• $500 worth of Footprint hosting (1500 points)
Your TRIP credit would be 3300 points which puts you in business class. This entitles you to a 7% credit to be applied to the following month.
Note that if your credit amount exceeds your next months purchases, it will carry forward to the following month.
